20-Importance:   2 story, flat-roofed gas station with porte-cochere on front extending to two gas pumps. Living quarters on second floor. Typical gas station of this period, of which few remain on Long Island.

[In 1930s, and perhaps earlier, this station and residence was owned by Alexander Kosenkranius, and wife Helmar. He was of Estonia, she of Finland.]
