Comment: Looking east on South Country Road and Beaver Dam Brook. The Ketcham House and barns apparently are the structures in the background. There appears to be a residence close to the road behind the large tree, as well as a structure with chimneys further back. It is probably the building close to the road that was moved back and joined to the other building (perhaps some one can help me out here?). Notation on the back: "Taken by J. [Jake] Valentine about 1888 "Original corner "The old Ketcham house [Br6A] which was moved t (sic) is now ('63) Mrs. Desmond Nelson's "(later Mr. Allardt's) 1947 "Edna V. Bruce"
