Comment: Blair and Joan Munhofen completed this house in 1955, on a lot adjacent and east of Joan's brother's house. Blair did most of the work himself; it took several years to complete, including a 22 month hiatus when he return to duty with the Air Force. They lived there until after he retired and moved to the Carolina's. Blair was known for his meticulous craftmanship in constructing the house, and his later care of the house and grounds.
