This watercolor is in the home of Richard and Carolyn Beyer, now of Tuscumbia, Alabama. As a youth, Richard lived in Brookhaven Hamlet and was a close friend of the Champlain's. He comments on the watercolor:
"The water color was painted from the circular driveway of the house next door, which in those days is where Philip Champlain lived with his wife Jane and daughters Bonnie and Debbie, by Beatrice Tucker, a cousin of Phyllis Champlain's from Baltimore."
