A substantial addition has been added to the original house, which includes wings on both the east and west faces. The original main entrance on the west face has been eliminated.

The road is to the left. The large windows are on the north face and opened into Gardner Rea's studio. The west face is the "back;" the only way into the original house was from this side. On the west face, between the chimney and the window with an awning, is a long whitish "slit;" this was a floor to eve door used to take large pieces of artwork in and out of his studio.
Sometime after 1966, a substantial addition has been added to the west face, eliminating the original entrance. See other photographs.
